Chesspark -chesscom-difference

The most important difference:

The client. You could download a program and you could play very very good quality. With poor internet and computer it was very very important.

It was much better than any else on the internet. If Chesspark bankrupted it would be much more valuable than some thousands users.

If you had had such good client users could have come.

It was real real time and not so slow that all other. With old computer and slow internet I have very big disadvantage

Chess.com did not acquire the technology, servers, or team behind Chesspark - just the name.

I'm sry for what happened to your chess site, but why do you keep complaining all the time? Chesspark was closed! You are taken to new, and if I may say, one of the best if not the best chess site online. You are allowed to keep your payed accounts for free, all people from chesspark are here, and yet you keep complaining. We here like chess com for what it is. We like the people, the admins, and all about it. And if there was not the good people of chess.com you would be playing chess in park now, but not chesspark, but real park outside... And yet I do not see any thank you note...

I'm lost.  I take it Chess Park was a chess site? (I never heard of it) that it lacked funds to keep operating?  it didn't tell its customers it was in danger of closing? anything about it that made it stand out from the crowd? was it more to live or delayed chess?  that Chess Park members were given the option of transferring to Chess.com at no cost?

Get the facts when I can storm and rant, cry foul and complain bitterly that I'm being mistreated?  What's the fun in that?

I just wanted to help not claim.

If the former owners of chesspark out of funds, they could sell the downloadable client for very cheap.

On chesspark the web surface and downloadable client worked in a competition.

The downloadable client won with KO.

You can see the difference between a Bentley an VW. You can say that Bentley out of fund an aquired by VW, but you never say that a VW polo better than a Bentley. Of course have lot of advantage, lot of people use it, cheaper service e.t.c. but it is good to use the best technical solutions from Bentley in VW

Only that opinions are important which used both of the systems.
