I saw the ad with Danny R. Impressed. Thrilled. Next level stuff? I want to buy one. Thought I did.
Problem A, they don't exist yet.
Problem B, if they do, you get one in November. I would say maybe...
Problem C, It's a funding project, you get to know in May if they exist.
I am almost stunned that this is not mentioned in the ad (any of them). It's almost like the "Get a free iPad!" Yeah, IF you answer 48 questions, THEN - maybe - you are in a lottery.
Anybody else noticed?

I would have a few questions.

1. Does it need to be connected to the electric mains or does it have a battery ?
2. In the photo you can see that there is a mode where it shows me the best strokes. That would be quite good for analyzing my own batches. But is this realistic ? Can I analyze the batches ? When analyzing I have to return the moves - is that possible ?
3. If it shows the best moves it probably has a chess engine in it. Can I play against it or is it exclusively a chess.com client and I have to play against chess.com bots ?
4. The kickstarter version supports chess.com - won't there also be a version that is open and supports competing sites ?
5. Does it have any open interface ? I can imagine that other games (checkers, dameo, loa) or some chess variants (seirawan, three-check) could be played ?
