Clashes of Styles in WC matches

It seems to me that many of the greatest WC matches are defined by a clash of styles - often between a solid positional player and an aggressive tactical player.  Often the result of these matches is determined by which player manages to play the match more on their terms - there are several examples in recent history.  Kasparov, an aggressive/tactical player managed to overcome Karpov, a solid positional player and I believe he often managed to get fairly complex positions where he outplayed Karpov - although the matches were all fairly close.  Then Kramnik finally found the antidote to Kasparov by engaging him in simplified positions where his incredible calculation abilities where somewhat blunted.  Later Kramnik failed to utilise a similar approach againt Anand, engaging him in a theoretical battle in complex lines of the Semi-Slav, which played more to Anand's strengths.

At the moment we have one of the strongest, if not the strongest player of a solid/positional style as WC.  So when will we see the next Kasparov/Alekhine arrive on the scene?  The old guard (Kramnik/Anand) are no longer at the peak of their powers and in my opinon - many of Carlsen's contemporaries don't play particularly inspired chess, computers have alot to answer for in this regard.
