The dude Hikaru was playing is 13xx and has the traditional "cheater's cadence" where he'll play with the same rhythm for several impossibly strong and accurate moves, then start playing like a 500 hanging all his pieces (like this guy when his time got low and he didn't have time to use his engine), then back to playing like Magnus Carlsen on his best day again....

Cheater's have completely ruined online chess. What satisfaction could they possibly get from "beating someone" by using an engine?
