Beginner intermediate class master supermaster according to rating... Plzz clarify someone
Master means 2000+..ryt??
100 - absolute beginner
300 - 500 total beginner
500 - 800 weak beginner
800 -1200 beginner
So basically under 1200 you are a novice .
1200-1400 class D
1400-1600 class C
1600-1800 class B
1800-2000 class A
2000-2200 candidate master, experts (USA).
2200-2300 FIDE Candidate Masters (CM) , most national masters.
2300-2400 FIDE Masters, (FM)
2400-2500 most International Masters (IM) and some Grandmasters (GM)
2500-2700 most Grandmasters (GM)
2700+ World Championshipcontenders

Depends on many factors , such as how many games has been played, what time controls , etc... but short answer is yes roughly you can guide by it.
