Clearing chat

It seems to me that at an earlier time chat would clear at the end of a game.  Now it no longer does that and when I challenge an opponent to a new game the chat remains from the game before.  Is there a way I can refresh the chat from a previous game before I begin a new one.  Or am I doing something wrong?  I tried to block chat and then ub-block it but once iet's off it's off...or is there a way I can turn it back on.  The chat from some of my games has become so full that I have to scan down to see if there are any "chat" messages and I end up overlooking them...tks.

 Are you saying that your chat messages from one game is transferred to another game?

That is weird, I haven't experienced that.

I've got the same small problem Asked about it before. Just checking back now and it seems there is still no answer?

Daily chess: Chat with my friends not clearing from one game to another, now having to scroll down to find my friends chat for current game, this used to be cleared after each game noticed others here have the same problem. Can someone please sort this ???

Same. Particularly an issue if you decline to chat with someone in one game, thinking you won't have to see whatever rubbish they're writing. Only for their message to be clearly visible in the window once you've started your next game. Chat clearing would be nice.
