The Fried Liver Attack is my favorite opening to use when I'm playing with the white pieces. On this forum I'll teach some of the basics, but if you want to study more deeply, Gothamchess has a great video teaching it in greater detail.

After the moves e4, e5, Nf3, Nc6, Bc4, your hope should be that black plays Nf6, Then white plays Ng5. If black does not play Nf6 you need to find something else because g5 would be met by the queen. After Ng5, both your bishop and knight hit the f7 square. The only way for black to block this attack is by playing d5, if this happens you will play the move exd5, taking the pawn. If black recaptures the pawn with their knight, you should sacrifice your own knight with the move Nxf7, forking the queen and rook. Black has to take with the king, and you will play Qf3+, attacking the king. if black moves the king to g8 it's mate in just a few moves(Bxd5+, Qxd5, Qxd5+, Be6, Qxe6#). Feel free to study more deeply with Gotham's video I mentioned earlier. He has been helping me learn for a long time now, and I hope he can teach you as well.

Keep on learning! -Grantimus
