Clock/Timer Being Manipulated

Not really. It might look like your clock is going faster than your opponents, like in bullet, but it's just an illusion to make you think your time is faster. Other than that, nothing really happens, since I always play fast on blitz and rapid games.

Its bullet guys,I don't gaff

if you guys care so much about the bullet clock play rapid and chess.com can fix the clock.

Also,if you're opponent manipulates the clock or the clock is not working contact support.

It's not that deep.

I would also mention, that the program has problems with more things than the clock.

When I logged in, the website stated that there was a server problem, to wait 27 minutes but, I was able to play as a guest 2 seconds later.

What excuse do they offer for this, as the server was definitely still running!

There was a live server restart around the time you posted. The guest games are hosted differently, so they were not impacted.

Bro I feel so bad for Martin,he has to deal with these wierdos

I’ve actually done this personally a long time ago. So yeah it’s doable. I have noticed this myself so I have mentioned the reality of it but the furthest communication I had with an admin was being asked to prove it…..which I get but I ain’t spending any money on the equipment and wasting time trying to prove my input. If they don’t believe it then whatever, lol. At the same time it is board game bro like who really cares if someone is cheating. Seriously. Unless there’s money on the line, then who cares.

I do the same...just block the time jumpers... and they start to show increasingly rare

stop defending overcrowded servers. its a game. I dont understand why people cheats? they take some prizes in graves or let them in the will?

people in this world dont understand that its ok to loose sometimes?

Your opponents can't change the clocks. Only the server does.

bla bla.. the admins will not pay for supporting their part@

I have witnessed too many manipulations with moves and time on your website.

Your website is not on the "up and up."

It other words, for the most part, you have rigged the games for your self or, for paying members.

That makes this website unserious for good chess-players.

And, with time, most players will come to the same conclusion.

No Thank You!

I played against opponents who obviously manipulated the clock = Instead of decreasing their time it suddenly added more seconds on their time.

Yep I’ve seen this once in bullet. Their clock would go down naturally, then they’d make their move and it would jump back up a few seconds. I exited the match after a few moves. This was not a time control game that refunded time for each move made.

In regard to time-manipulation, I've witnessed time-manipulation as much as 10 seconds taken away from my clock, during a bullet match.

Time-manipulation happens often, more than this website will acknowledge.

But, I have also witnessed illegal moves, that were not possible under normal playing conditions, including the false movement of my pieces.

I will reiterate, this website can be used for practice, but is in no way a site to be used for serious games.

That is a shame and, when people become aware of the manipulation of time and pieces, most will refuse to pay for a membership.

This Chess-website is doomed due it's correction of problems and / or lack of investments and time.

You're seeing lag compensation and/or disconnects on your end.

Clocks are not being hacked.

Also, it is not possible to play illegal moves. If you have one game that has one, please post a link.

Lag happens way to often for it to be a problem with an overload of chess-players.

You are seeking excuses for problems with your website, that are not being corrected, or investigated.

Your posting of an illegal move being not possible, does not solve the problem and, as I stated above, you are not investigating or correcting the problems.
