Are they worth it maybe once a week? I would say most of them are around $40 - $50 bucks I believe

I recommend you to not to waste money on human coaches. Trust me if you wanna improve you can try some apps and softwares. if you have a PC, then you can download LUCAS CHESS app and if you have smartphone you can easily download ANALYZE THIS from playstore. After downloading these cool apps simply play some classical games (30-40minutes) and then analyze those games trust you fide will increase 200 Per month

You know he is rated higher than you don't you? 

 

Although it is a normal advice that people give, playing longer games, analyzing your own losses etc... coaches seem like a good thing in that they know exactly what you do wrong and can easily fix it and show you what you can do, or maybe change your way of thinking,

I myself don't know if they are worth it or not, never paid for one
