Entertaining ending on this one (start around 9 minute mark).
For those who don't know, in OTB blitz if you leave your king in check the opponent can take it an win the game.

I hope that chess.com has the OTB blitz.
Great Carlini: ''I smuck you like a uh smucky.''
Dave: ''Smuck me like a smucky?''
Great Carlini: ''Well you know what it is, it's a thing.''

Shouldn't it be ruled as an illegal move instead?

no its just easier and quicker to take the king. Imagine pausing the clock and getting a td because your opponent left his king en prise .__.

..... Ok, not the response I was expecting given it's a topic on Coffee Chess, but I would rather not give away any address here.

I like the plastic chess pieces they use in most of the coffee chess videos, anyone know what they are or where I can order them?

Thanks, but unfortunately none of the plastic sets in the chess.com shop appear to be the same as the ones being used in the coffee chess games. I'm still working my way through the online chess suppliers but so far no luck.
If anyone can identify the exact pieces please let me know, I'd like to own a set.
@bishopsPawn3 It's in the description of their videos. This is the link they provide... https://www.amazon.com/WE-Games-Ultimate-Tournament-Staunton/dp/B07C2HPMQ5/ref=as_li_ss_tl?keywords=ultimate+chess+pieces&qid=1551418052&s=gateway&sr=8-4&&linkCode=sl1&tag=cchess-20&linkId=c9c3c4f37e592fc53b543ee48adeb2a8&language=en_US
Thanks SchliemannAttack, I've placed an order.
Your very helpful and detailed post was much appreciated.
So there's this YouTube channel that I'm a causal fan of, and that was Coffee Chess. Basically, it has videos of chess players playing chess, but with some trash talking, if you guys are into that sort of thing. After the match, the game analysis made by the guy probably recording those matches will come up. My favorite player so far was Carlini, or the ''Great Carlini''.
I don't know, but his way of trash talking his opponents kind of made me enjoy his playing style. What do you guys think? Link will be right here for those who want to check them out: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq6gYeqi8RIvVeF-sJwdaBg/videos
