My peak was 2146 (in rapid) before two years. My current rating is 1917.
Comment your highest rating on chess .com

My current chess rating, at least for rapid
(2041 right now, but I'm sure I'll look back years from now and my peak will be higher)
However, the global chess average is likely much lower than you may guess. Your 1436 rating is very good compared to most players.

I always try to stay at my peak and stop playing when i am tilting.... right now i am standing on my blitz peak!
You are a master

Nah, it only feels that way to most people. I even feel like that sometimes too
Besides, probably higher rated players are more likely to post in your thread than lower rated players. Higher rated players probably feel proud to post their hard work. Lower rated players may feel embarrassed with their ratings and not want to post. I've been posting on chess.com even when I was WAY lower rated lol. You shouldn't let the perception of others get to you. Most people mainly care only about their own rating and that is the sad truth. The good news there is that most aren't focused on your rating, so don't worry much about numbers and just keep the emphasis on fun, or improvement, or learning.

I completely agree with this. Also, thanks for the video, it was very informative.
2176 was my highest in blitz, 2006 now but didn’t play for almost a year so real level should be lower than that.

Absolutely. I would be very surprised if anyone rated below 1000 elo posts here. The best number I can give you is 1469 peak elo for Daily chess. I am using the USCF paradigm of "established rating" and throwing out ratings where I had played less than 26 games, otherwise I could claim a 1626 peak which is far from accurate.

I think the biggest reason for my improvement is experience....i didn't study that much so probably that's why it took me so long
what? it didn't take you very long, you got to 2100 in 2 years.

He started at 1850 and ended with 2150 in 2 years

U don't know about me....for the first two years after i started learning,i had no device to access chess online....after two years i got my first device and i was around 1400 in rapid....then i went to 1500,1600 and so on and so forth....then i hit a wall around 1700 which i broke in 2022....i would have improved a lot easier if it wasn't the lockdown..... lockdown took nearly 2 years away from me
The lockdown is the responsible for making me play chess in my case. Though I must say you had it tough there
I want to know highest rating of all of you and 8n which field also
I am 1436 in rapid and you??
