Take the opportunity to wait and form your own opinion after you've seen it. I've only seen hate on the film. It made an impression on me. I advise you think for you.

It was okay. Nothing great. They captured some of the essence of Fischer's personality and his quirks. They took liberties with some of the chess scenes -- they didn't happen the way they were depicted in the movie and some of the events were completely made up. Also, Fischer's entire entourage was condensed into three people, one of whom was in reality a very minor character who had long since disappeared from Fischer's life.
It could have been a lot worse. I would watch it again (which hasn't been the case for Searching For Bobby Fischer, which I only ever watched one time.)
I have been unable to see it so far since the theatres in my town decided not to show it. Please just reactions from people who have actually seen the movie.
