I recently got matched in a 3 days daily game against an opponent where I was black and he was White. I noticed the match right away and amost immediately made a move, and noticed my opponent responded with an immediate conditional move. They then responded immediately to my next 2 moves.
I was aware you can set conditional moves during an opponents turn, but this seemed like it was pre-set at game start (though I could be wrong if they set conditions very very quickly after they made their first move).
Anybody else see this? I ended up just resigning because my daily games take a long time and I like to enjoy them, not feel like somebody might be cheating. Personally I feel like they found some way to automate common openings or perhaps automate moves in general which seems like low-key cheating to me, and not the way I want to play.
If you were white, your opponent could have immediately made conditional moves. If they were white, they could have made their first move and then set conditional moves.
The opening is one place where it's pretty easy to set conditional lines and be sure you won't miscalculate.
