I don't know, seems like B:g5 wins
Confused
I keep thinking this was a misprint but his comments about Black being down a Knight and a pawn concur with the position on the board. There has to be an explanation. Capablanca's a genius and would not have missed that.
Not really sure what my rating is as I've just started and only played two games. The first was with a greeter which I won but learned it was not rated :( And I lost the second one. I have not played chess for years but really enjoy the site and looking forward to getting back in shape.
Thanks for the letting me know I'm not totally blind lol.

I was studying Capablanca's Chess Fundamentals and came across this position in Chp 3 Example 43 Attacking w/o Knights. Capablanca states "It is Black's move and as he is a Knight and pawn behind he must win quickly, if at all." The text continues with "1...Rdg8! 2.Rf2 [If 2.Qxe7 Rxg2+ 3.Kh1 Bd5 and mate follows in a few moves.] 2...Rxg2+ 3.Kf1 Bc4+ 4.Nxc4 Rg1#".
I am wondering about White's response to 1...Rdg8 2.Rf2. I can't see how Black could win if White played 2.Bxg5?
I have serious tactical blindness sometimes but I've looked at this from different angles and can't figure out what I'm missing?
