You’re at the stage where chess stops being random… and starts being real strategy.

You know openings.
You see basic tactics.
You don’t hang pieces “for free” anymore (well… most of the time 😅).

But this is also the stage where improvement feels slow.

Here’s what you need to hear:
• 🧠 Stop blaming openings. Most games are decided by tactics and blunders, not move 7 theory.
• 👀 Calculate one move deeper. Before every move ask: “What is my opponent threatening?”
• ♟️ Endgames win rating. Learn king + pawn endings and basic rook endings — free points.
• 🔥 Consistency beats streaks. One good game doesn’t matter. Solid thinking every move does.
• 💪 Losses are training data. Analyze them. That’s where rating growth hides.

If you’re around 800–1600 (Bullet, Rapid, whatever), this is the grind zone.
And if you push through it… that’s when real strength starts forming.

Keep building.
Keep calculating.
Keep fighting every position.

And remember — even GMs blunder. The difference is they blunder less. 😉

Now tell me… what rating are you aiming for next? ♟️🚀
