Congratz to everyone who made it to Elite League

LOL, that is true of every league... my game still sucks and I've been #1 up to silver (will advance to Crystal today).... just grind and grind and grind... with 52% success... but hey it's something for us obsessive compulsives to do that's better than the alternatives.

I am simply trying to state that the players in the 2nd category (average players) simply can't compete with the most hardcore players from first category (high Elo), on a quantitative level (which this leagues tournament of yours is strongly about - encouraging a lot of matches).
It's simply not humanly possible. The average player would need to play even twice as many matches (due to the arena compounding bonuses, up to 4 extra points/trophies, on winning streaks).
I made it to Elite level by bouncing around 400 elo in Rapid.
The maths is such that with an average of 8 points per match, I'd need to win an average of net 75 games against increasingly harder opposition to get to 1000.
a) I don't care to grind out that many games
b) an internet trophy is somewhat useless anyway
c) I play this game for fun
Scorpyoon89 may have stumbled on some deep truth embedded in the universe but I would suggest buying some chips and mayo to go with that salt.

Leagues just mean that you have played a lot of games and occasionally win. It is not a test of skill, but as some have described it is a test of "grind". Grinding is not easy, it takes a lot of time and energy, and if you go on a tilt you can play a lot of games, lose them all and not get any points. Here's to the grinders!
Idk I just play if I get free periods in school and if Im really bored at home and I'm almost elite :/
