Just lost a good session on tournament on live chess due to connection AGAIN. Every time I have a green bar I have lousy connection. When its red its fine. I thought it was the other way round. I have noticed when other players dissconect during a game there is a message that says they may have violated policy. So this is the third time Ive been disconnected during play, twice I happenned to be losing. So am I now being watched? More than 7000 users online means good chance of being disconnected. More games I play means better chance of being disconnected while I am losing. So at what point do they do they take what ive said into account to penalising / restricting/ erasing my account?
Whether or not penalties are enforced on your account is based on a percentage of games, not a number, so playing more games doesn't increase your chances of getting penalized. Don't worry, even if you do get penalized, you won't lose your account. If you've only been disconnected 3 times, then my guess is that you'll be fine.
