Maybe I can help some. I too have seen irratic movements and things on the bord during play. This happens more frequintly to me if I have other applications open at the time. A program playing a music video tends to do it. Having other tabs open in your browser at the same time youre in play also effects graphic performance. Like facebook.
On the time freezing issues: When your internet connection is slow, the "handshakes" takes longer and your connection bar should be orange. That is the thingy thats looking like a battery in live play screen next to your time. You can type /ping ("/ping") whithout the inverts to see what your connection strength is to the chess server. Anything more than 500 is less favourable for games like bullet and so on. Under 250 is optimum. Playing the computer, his lag should be 0 (Nil) to just a few since he is connected to the server. You can test someones lag by typing /lag chess_7777 for example. That is (/ping name) while in live play page.

Hope this helps!!

I have been having a problem playing on chess.com for nearly two weeks and I have tried to contact chess.com and has not received a response at all. Does anyone know the proper procedures for contacting chess.com with problems that cant seem to be resolved otherwise. Each time I log in to play a game, my time is running and my opponent's time is not running. When a move is made, the pieces end up on other squares, on one occasion my opponent castles and the rook ended on in the middle of of board on top of another piece. I have asked chess.com to sign into my account and play a game and they will see the erractic way it is playing. I have lost my last games because of time and because my pieces are elsewhere on the board. I post my concerns on chess.com facebook and still no response. Is this the way chess.com operates?
