Coop de grace

My favorite ways to deliver the coup de grace:

0. Blocking a check with a move that simultaneously checkmates his king. 

1.  Putting his king into checkmate by capturing en passant.

2.  castleing / rook checkmates his king

3.  pawn promotion to a knight

4.  middle of the board plus any of the above

5.  A middle game version of the fools mate

6.  using conditional moves in daily (correspondence) chess.  This one has the added advantage of allowing me to be sleeping or in the shower, or, in the event of an untimely death, actually checkmating someone.   I mean, I could literally checkmate someone after I'm dead and buried.

But, Poetic Justice, a sensitive kid playing against me could "trigger" one of my moves, lose traumatically, and "trigger" me being thrown to the flames.
