Could Black Have Won This (and Where?)

Curious about whether black could have won this...

Couple of things to know - this was a 3/d per move game but we played it like a G/30 game. I don't have chess software to analyze this game and haven't looked at it since it ended. I just remember thinking this was a game that could have gone either way.

Also, I don't move the pieces around in between moves.

Any insights on where black could have won would be appreciated.

Thanks:)

Other info: My opponent was rated in the mid-1300s but played much better than that I think. I forget what my rating was at the time, but it was probably in the 1500s

Ugly? I think it's a beautiful game! Very tactical!

And your question about bullet already was answered in a post above.

Bullet implies blunders. Where were they? I'm genuinely interested. Or are you just being a nasty trollLaughing

Wow...okay, that one was pretty wild (lol).

It looks to me like Black will get a strong attack out of 17... Qxc7 18 Bxc7 Re8+.

Also 18... Rc8 looks like an idea, with the notion of playing Bxb2 and then having Bc3+ as an answer if White tries to play a rook to e1.

(Btw I wouldn't take cz's comments too seriously, since after all he is known to play with himself.)

I guess you just don't see the beauty in a very tactical game. I guess you "positional" games where people maneuver their pieces around for an eternity lol

Thanks for constructive comments! I think the trade of queens would have benefited him and probably led to a win (for him.) I was kind of surprised he didn't go for that. His bishops are very powerful

I already said it was a 3d/move game played like a G/30 game.

You're just being a nasty troll, throwing out insults with nothing to back them up. If you don't like tactical games, fine. But bullet implies blunders and you haven't identified any. Would love for you to do that - that's why I posted the game! I want to see where he and I went wrong

Actually, it looks to me like 28... g4+ also might well have saved Black.

My apologies for the constructive comments btw...try as I might, I find that every once in a while I let a few of them slip through. Smile

Never mind - I checked out your profile for the heck of it. Looks like you're a kid. I was pretty much of a jerk when I was a kid too. Totally understand Smile

And go ahead and troll some more. Adults on here will see what you're doing for what it is, and you'll only make a fool out of yourself. Go for it! Smile

Anyway, I thought it was a very interesting game.  Don't know what's going on with conehead, but apparently he's just found his mom's bottle of creme de menthe, so looks like this is probably going to go on for a few hours more...

i don't have a ton of experience but I agree that black's bishops are very strong and I would have tried to trade the light squared ones earlier in the game

If 28) ... g4+, I probably would have blocked with my bishop and then taken the rook after his queen moved off that diagonal. Don't know what would have happened from there

lol Yeah, I don't know what's eating him. Thanks for comments. This was my favorite game on here so far. Would have liked it even if I lost. I think he should have traded queens (as you pointed out.) Probably would have won if he did that. I think this guy's a New Yorker (I'm in the same time zone and remember playing this out at like 3 a.m...couldn't go to sleep until I found out how it turned out lol)

Totally agree about black's bishops. They were very strong in this game and I probably should have tried to trade one of them off.
