Could I be banned if I win against better players?

I just entered a two games tournament, I keep being around 450 to 500 elo but won against two 1000-something. Is there a chance I get banned?

Two weeks ago, I was challenged by a 2200 player on Discord. We tied and he reported me too. The whole chat went on him because he did a poor game, but I don't want to get banned!

Thanks!

If you're playing fairly you have nothing to worry about.

I'm that 2200. Don't you think it's a lil sus a 400 would beat a 2200??

It’s unlikely you’ll get banned simply for winning against higher-rated players, as long as you're not cheating or exploiting any game mechanics. However, if you’re consistently beating much stronger opponents and it raises suspicion, it's important to avoid any behavior that could be misinterpreted as unfair play. Stay transparent, and if you’re ever reported, provide evidence of fair play. My friend is studying PhD literature and has been looking for an e-platform to assist with academic paper writing services. He found https://academized.com/research-paper-writing-service useful for him, and they offer assistance with various assignments, including essays, research papers, and theses. While it claims to provide high-quality content, it is essential to proceed with caution when using such services.

He didn't beat you, it was a draw. I don't know what is the thing with the game, but you played like some sub 1 000 rated player. First you don't take the free queen (it can happen, one might not expect the blunder and play automatically when not used to seeing such a blunder in his games), but afterwards your play is inexplicable for 2200 level.

For me this game is not suspicious, your play was as if you tried to lose from the start of the game and failed to do so. It would be suspicious if the game was different. Let's say if you made a mistake and then 600 exploited it masterfully and then converted. But that is not the case here. He drew against higher rated opponent with more or less expected level of play for a sub 1 000 player. He even didn't know how to win K+R vs K.
