A win would also be psychologically good as it would all but win the match immediately.
Could losing this game be GOOD for Carlsen?

Absolutely, a win would definitely be good for Carlsen, no doubt.
As it looks to be fairly losing for him (at least acording to Polgar), I'm thinking that losing this can also have the same effect.

Guarantee he would rather have a draw. If a loss would be good for him, he'd lose on purpose. 2 points with 3 games left is game over.

He gets that feeling out of the way of the loss at this level, and can go in with 3 games, left, a game up, with new vigor.
You're making an assumption that he is going to lose at this level at some point. I'm not even sure that's the case...

Oh absolutely. It's far from over, however Polgar is saying it's going to be tough to maintain for black.
BUT, it is Magnus 'the kid' Carlsen, and anything can happen!
On a purely psychological level, do you think it could be GOOD to lose this one?
