If you don't want the whole game, you need to create a file of FEN positions. For example,
FEN B7/K1B1p1Q1/5r2/7p/1P1kp1bR/3P3R/1P1NP3/2n5 w - -
is a chess position, in FEN format, that is a forced mate in two.
Save the file as a ASCII text file. You can use any text editor, including Textpad or Notepad. And yes, you can also probably use Fritz 12 to save the positions.
Suppose I want to create a database or pgn or whatever of Mate in 2 positions in Fritz 12? So I play through a game, get to a mate in 2 position and copy that position. Now what?
I don't want the whole game, just the current position. I'd like to come back later and run through all the mate in 2 positions and play them against Fritz.
