Creating a Tournament

Hey guys,

I finally completed 5 games YEAH!  So now I want to create a tournament that has longer than 1 move/3 days.  Not that I ever take that long, but just in case.  I never have a computer hardly on the weekends, and don't want to take a chance coming in on Monday and losing because I missed a game due to time.

Any suggestions for how to get a good tournament going?  I appreciate all reasonable feedback, especially if you have ran a tournament before.  Thanks!

You can set up a tournament time scale for the  same times as regular turn based games. This allows you to set up a tournament for 14 days if thats what you wanted. You get to choose the start date and time, therefore you can start it on a weekday so you know you'll be online when it starts.

I started a tournament on the 3 day per turn setup back on May 25th and we are just now at 66% complete - we only had 5 players which means 10 games total.I wouldn't want to guess how long a 14 day would take. At least make it 5 days per turn.

I changed it to 5 days I think, I got 6 entries for a 1. f4 tourney.  Nothing to it once you get cooking!  Except figuring out how to win! :-)

I am with you on that one. Good luck and let me know next time you start one and I might join in if I am not full up already!

Cool!  You're on my friend's list, I will try to let everyone on my friends' list know about it.  1. f4 is not as bad as people make it out to be, it is definetely playable.
