I was looking up something on the internet the other day and wondered, does the curent World Champion Grand Master affect the lines played by us little people? After going through the years on the computer and rummiging through the pile of Google hits I found that by a percentage you is does the average shift in play of quite or hard lines is, by only using a small look at national turnments, over a 30% shift. I would like to hear everybodys opinion on this please.
What "years on the computer" are you referring to and what source(s)? It would also help if you rephrased the other italicized phrase into legible english.
To answer your question, I suppose the little people who own the latest DBs, and/or Informants and/or volumes of NIC are probably influenced by Anand's opening play more so than the other little people who don't take the game quite so seriously.
