That's why I don't think he intentionally committed suicide. I think he did get something to eat, took some sleeping pills, couldn't sleep, and then took some more upping the dosage to a fatal level. Accidental overdose, not suicide. This doesn't erase Kramnik's actions, you can have two wrongs here.

I also think it was a tragic accident. And that it still doesn't erase the effects on mental health that being a target of online bullying did. I think it would make the bully feel better to at least admit the bullying. But I have seen this before: the denial phase. With an actual suicide case. The gf who dumped the victim before he killed himself at 25 pretended afterwards she didn't dump him. Even though it was the whole reason for the suicide. To play the victim. Or stuck in denial of what happened. Still not sure why. But it's a grieving phase. Before anger, sadness and acceptance.

Sleep deprivation can significantly raise heart attack risk. Most likely accidental overdose but possibly a heart attack? It would be unusual, but a heart attack at his age isn't impossible.

That is what I also thought that it could be a heart attack. Stress from the harassment, anxiety, social pressures, chess performance pressures, loneliness from not having a supportive partner (even though had supportive friends and family) and sleep deprivation combined with the pills.

I don't know what he ate but if he ate something very salty and greasy it could have clogged up his veins and rise his blood pressure. Then taking too many pills to calm down. Under all the circumstances it's a lot to handle for the body.
