Idk, maybe it's cuz this situation is more complicated? I'm actually glad they haven't released a statement, knowing them it'd be an article blindly repeating a news outlet's opinion without full knowledge of the facts. This would require a lot more finesse than ukraine-russia (which was easier, not easy but not that hard to discuss maturely) and more people would get offended, the people here aren't mature enough for proper discussions of this matter especially because more people are less informed of this conflict than ukraine and russia.

I would like to know when the next improvement in the definition of "brilliant" moves will occur.

Many many people do not understand that most moves currently called "brilliant" are not "brilliant" at all. They are just decent sacrifices. Nothing wrong with that-- but it's not the same as a "brilliancy".

Absolute facts, the brilliant move definition has never sat right for me, either old or new, and I feel like the devs could definitely coook up something really good with a mixture of the two.

I mean, when one side is officially recognized as a terrorist organization by multiple governments including the United States, that should simplify the issue really fast.

It would be simple if Israel stuck to attacking Hamas rather than killing women and children by the thousands. I would also say that I don't see this in any was as a political issue, rather, it's a legal issue. As in, the law of what is and is not a crime against humanity.

tl;dr

Israel has been trying to get civilians out of harm’s way so that they can “stick to attacking Hamas,” but Hamas is actively keeping civilians from evacuating, “us[ing] Palestinian civilians as human shields” to quote President Biden.
