Bad chess players are defined in terms of attitude, not rating. Magnus and Hikaru didn't start learning chess with Grandmaster ratings, they started with a rating similar to yours.
What is a weak chess player, by rating? Dunno. under 500 maybe?

I'm not sure. I only play if a friend of mine challenges me. I got 1000 in all time controls because I was promised a membership if I did.

The answer for most people is likely x points below them. The value of x changes, but 200 sounds like a fair avarage.
