Delete a club

I joined a club, but realized it is not for me and I no longer wish to receive their emails.  How do you delete or "unjoin" a club?

Select the club you want to quit under Clubs / My Clubs. From the club page go to Settings. At the bottom of the Settings is an option to Quit Club.

You are talking like a dictator. You should not kill people to stop them talking to you.

How do you delete a club that you made?

If nobody else is a member, you can write to support@chess.com

I don't think they will delete clubs that have an active membership.

If you are club owner you can disable it by going to Club Profile and Settings

Someone disabled a newly formed club, and I still keep receiving notifications. Every time I click, it says that the club has been disabled. What actually is going on?

Some people close clubs and still post content which is apparently possible. If you can navigate to the settings page you can turn off all the notifications. What club is it?

Well, the last comment before mine is dated August 7, 2019. And google search brought this up.

i still wanted to delete "ninja fights" but it doesn't seem to remove it completely (as in i still can't actualy make a club without getting the plan)

Because apparently the code check for a closed club is only on a few pages. The other club features don't even look at that.
