I was once chatting in a religious group and after a while I confessed that I sacrificed my bishop and there were many quite concerned until I had to tell them what I meant by "my bishop".
Did you ever DARE to do SACRIFICE?.

Well, if you mean "dare you sacrifice when you can't see the end of your line", no.
"Dare you sacrifice when you see a clear compensation, even if not immediately winning", yes. But of course that one is obvious. The good question might be "do you consider and calculate sacrificing often ?"

It doesn't happen often, but I've sacked a rook a couple of times, only because I was quite sure mate would follow though.
More often I sac the exchange, without seeing a line to win back the material (to get some kind of positional compensation or to secure a draw or something).

Sacrificed in most of my recent games, but mainly sham sacrifices for material:
Move 31: Rb1 http://www.chess.com/echess/game?id=63528456
Knight sac move 9, final move, bishop 'sac' http://www.chess.com/echess/game?id=63734484

Good one!! But not brilliant..
Well a good sacrifice in a chess is something which make the game glorious and give it a beauty. It is something which is not common to everyone and every game, in very rare case it occurs.
I remember the Quote of M.Tal- there are only two types of sacrifice!! A good sacrifice and the other one is mine!!!
So my question is- did you ever dare to sacrifice in your chess game?.
