Did you ever resign when you're losing or just continue playing it until checkmated

If I am clearly losing I resign. Not idea resist more when opponent would win anyway and IMO it is with good sportsman behave that you resign when you are losing. By resigning you show that you know being losing and you can't win. And it too shows that you respect yours opponent enough to admit that he/she has been better than you and has good chances to win.

it's best to not resign below 1000 because your opponent can blunder and lose but you should resign above 1000 because your opponent will probably not blunder

Depends opponent. If opponent is really good and you are losing a game it is just better to resign no matter yours points.

the ratings do matter because they generally decide how good your opponent is

Wow awesome idea 💡 to learn by yourself without friends' help:)

always continue becuase your opponent could mouse slip or something and you win
You say that and then you resign
