Did you see Magnus Carlsen vs Bill Gates

Magnus won quite convincingly checkmating Bill in 9 moves with a knight sacrifice.

Bill's development was slow and his dark squared bishop couldn't be developed. Magnus applied pressure against Bill Gates' king side and won easily.

I expected a draw but Magnus was in good form.

Magnus also won the psychological battle and the game deviated from the book as early as move 3

I think that a computer evaluation with Houdini would give clear advantage to White but we would have to see.

Guys, money doesn't raise your IQ. Gates didn't do anything but be a lucky businessman. I'm sure he's not stupid, but he's not a genius.
