Difference in Opening Deep Fritz 14 and Fritz 15

When I played a rated game (ELO 1450, 120/40+60/20+30, 2048 MB, optimized strength) under Deep Fritz 14 the openings the computer played with White/Black were most likely the same. Not much difference.

Now I have Fritz 15. When I play a rated game (same conditions as with DF 14) it plays a lot more different openings with White/Black. Some look really stupid. Most of the times that's true (I've checked it online).

Furthermore the resistance during the game was way harder then under F 15. Now I easily win (White and Black). Under DF 14 I had a hard job with Black and didn't win for over 50%.

Anyone an idea?

Regarding the openings - Maybe the new Fritz is using a different opening book since the last version?

Regarding the difficulty of the engine - Fritz 14 and Fritz 15 are completely different engines. F14 was basically a new version of the Pandix engine, programmmed by Gyula Horváth. F15 is basically a new version of the Rybka engine, programmed by Vasik Rajlich. My guess is that the LimitStrength algorithms between the two engines are likely not the same, so it's not too surprising that the strengths at a set elo level between the two versions might be different.

There is no deep fritz 15. Fritz 15 is already multicore by default, so no need to create a deep version.
