I never chat during chess, too many stupid trolls...

Same. I have Live Chat disabled, as my default setting.

I also have Private Messaging disabled, unless one is a Friend. (You'd be surprised how many people will send angry, curse-filled messages after losing a game/match. It seems almost mandatory, these days.)
