disconnection during games

so from what i have gathered there is some sort of program or program gamer that some use while losing. it causes you to disconnect and time runs out and they win. like to know your thoughts too

What likely happened is that you had a brief disconnect and the server may not have received your move. 

The server is the keeper of the accurate time. With the lag compensation algorithms the times on the clients may not be accurate. That is why you may occasionally see clocks adjusted in games, even without increments.

you maybe right.  From another site that i used to play at it shut down due to these programs being used. so i would not rule out hackers and programs
