I know Ding has been sick for some reason and did terribly in the last classical tournament but remember out of ten games against Ding Liren Carlsen has only manage to defeat him one time. That doesn't sound like dominating to me. I havn't checked but has Carlsen ever played anyone else in the world and only managed to win one game out of ten? It should be interesting to see how the best in the world do without opening preparation.

Well, on one occasion Carsel recognized that Ding was a very strong and unpredictable player... and this type of comment is because Ding appears weak but the reality is different, because Ding is very strong on the board...
