ok dip them in your tea or hot milk first to soften them up, panic over, problem solved.
Do Drinks help in Chess?

#14 interesting game, even though there is a lot mistakes; I love open game and at least the op is brave not a coward. These wimps that play colle, london, torre attack, trompowsky and 1.d4 d4 2.Nf3 Nf6 3.g3 is a true wimp.
Lets look at some the mistakes 5...Qh6? (is a big mistake and lost material, much better is 5...Qh5!, if black needs to move his knight to h6 the h6 square is vacate for the knight ) 6.Kg1? ( if the op was not inebriated he would found 6.Ne5 wins material) 6...Bc5?? is just bad and beginner move, 6...d6 is bad too 7.h4! give white a big advantage.

Dudes! I have noticed that whenever I drink a bit before playing , in that game , I get to play a brilliancy . Tal and Alekhine were also famous for both their addiction to drinks , and addiction to combinations . SO DO DRINKS HELP IN CHESS?
Please share your thoughts .

It's already too late for him. All brain cells died.
His vocabulary has been severely reduced to "Well Played", "Cheater", "Smositional".
Anything in excess is bad for you, a drink a week or something won't do you much harm, although I wouldn't drink.

that depends on your drink of choice. If its Bourbon then I approve lol.
Seriously though Drinking will calm your nerves and we make mistakes when we are too nervous so there is that, however, it is not good if you have to get drunk or buzzed to play good chess.
P.S. I dont agree with goku there have been scientific studies that have proven some drinking in moderation can be beneficial to your health (red wine especially i think) again the key word though is moderation if you cant do that then you shouldn't drink at all
Conventional scientists often agree that a glass of wine ever other week or so can be good for your health.
Most people with common sense agree that one ordinary drink can in no way harm you.
If you would like to keep posting "NO." Fine. If you would like to have an actual discussion involving different facts and figures and opinions, that would be better.
rather than repeating a word like s young parrot.
