Do emotions affect how you play chess?

Now how would you fix your emotions so you can play better?  This is what i would like to know.

Everyone's different. Just find a sort of routine that helps you focus before a game. If you get too frustrated during a game, take  a few deep breaths and look around. Also, if you can't see anything to do on your game, get up and take a short walk around the room while it's your opponent's turn; look at other chess games for just a minute or two. Then, sit down and take another look at the chess board. At least for me, I find that it helps me compose myself when I'm nervous.

Also, if you're in a tournament and you're frustrated with your performance in the round previous, you can try going outside and taking a nice run. It can be for five minutes, or however long you might have. Physical exercise tends to push emotions to the edge of the brain, so it's a nice way to vent pent-up feelings.

Yes of course. Many factors can influence your style of playing. For example, the strength of your oppenent might intimidate you. Or maybe you just had a bad day.

Playing rated or unrated also affects the way you might play.

I care less for the unrated games than I do for the rated ones, so I concentrate more on the rated ones.

Yes. Emotions have a huge impact on your gameplay. At least this is true in my case. When I am free of mind, elated, I win most of my games. But in stressed condition, I lose every game.

Yes, they do. Seemingly we all agree on this. It is also interesting why certain emotions arise. They can learn how you are involved in the game. Indeed, a stronger player can intimidate you. Or, somebody who runs around the board just to win on time may annoy you. Both can happen to me. Too much focus on winning can also lead to stress. Being in a good mood, relaxed and concentrated gives focus on the game itself rather than its outcome or your opponent's behaviour. And being focused on the game, may result in the same emotional state. The relation between emotions and game are very much circular! Your emotions can tell you how you are doing and how you are involved.

I cant play, now loosing right now my games bcz i cant concentrate, looks like I have not have fun right now, and not have real interest in moves for win. if you dont love chess in your play time for keep your mind maximum interest, then you must stop play. if you are bad mood also stop play chess. when i am good mood, then i erase everyone like 2x2
