i know a lot of people say things like "you are a coward if you don't accept a rematch" and all sorts of things like that, but I have found that 4/5 times I accept a rematch, my opponent goes from playing like absolute crap, 60% accuracy games and such, to playing 95%+! must be magic right? I don't know if it's just me, but every time I accept a rematch it feels like my opponent just got sour and pulled up a chess engine to steal their rating points back. Anyone else feel the same way? or just me?
I have also experienced this and that is why I don’t do rematches anymore

rematch requests are so aggressive especially when ppl is start spamming them

I immensely dislike rematching other people. I've encountered stuff like what you describe, or beating people 3 times in a row then opponents get salty and start talking trash especially if they start winning. If they want to call you a coward for not wanting a rematch that's on them. Their problem. You don't owe anybody your time.

i usually rematch if the opponent is cool person and he/she asks for one, or if i lost cuz of some blunder after winning or just lost, and i want to beat the player
