Do people bother explaining why they lost a bullet game?

I wonder, those who play over hundreds of bullet game a day, do they ever pause and think about why they lost a game or they just quickly forget about it?

I ask because when I play and i win, my opponents most of the time just leaves and go to the next game.

I see that in your last game your opponent lost on time more so than based on position. I don't know if analyzing a bullet game in that case is very useful. Perhaps, if you played the King's Gambit and were unfamiliar with it, you might resign at the 30 second mark and see where you screwed up. However, that questions why you are playing bullet.

I have had games where a pawn move changed the evaluation 5+ points. There is not much need to go over those games either. You know you blew it. Move on.

This is all make believe anyway. People are only playing fast chess like they are at a casino plunking another coin in the machine hoping to get lucky. It's a way to relax and forget about school, work, and family (or that nagging partner of yours).

Did you hack your main page? I can't check your rating. it's like blocked. And no, i won my last game. I will promote my pawn quicker than my opponent.

LOL, why do you need to see my rating? How does my rating determine why your opponent doesn't go over their games with you?

You think you won your game, but it was bullet. If you played a longer game they may have made better moves. That was my point. They just moved on to another game because they didn't put enough time to give a crap about it.

If you want to feel like you are a master in chess because you won a bullet game, that is your prerogative.

Because got to make sure you know what you're talking about. Since i can't determine your rating.. i can't really accept your answer.

Ok, wait for a doctor to tell you to look both ways before crossing. Have fun.

I mean, there's a reason why no one can see your rating. You're hiding it. and your default rating is 1200. You seem insecure. And you try hard to seem confident in answering my question so it's highly suspicious.

Hey Freud, he has no rating because he joined today and hasn't played any games.

Yea, let's look into it. We need Carlsen to explain why someone played a 1 minute bullet game, lost, and then didn't give 2 shits about it.

I am too unqualified to know why.

I don't know man. I've watched carlsen played on lichess and he seems thoughtful of every bullet game he played.

His explanation wasn't exactly wrong either, by the way. It sounds like you were just mad that he took issue with your last opponent losing on time.

So I wonder why someoen who hasn't played any game and on a new account would immediately participate in forum discussions?

It's just highly suspicious to be honest.

Nah, I didn't take issue about that because I won like i said even if the actual game was won on time. The position was hopeless for the opponent as I could promote faster. The reason why I asked this question because i saw how thoughtful magnus was when he won/lose bullet games. he streamed it. He actually flipped through some of his games showing other variations etc.. maybe that's just world champion thing.

He isn't thoughtful. Dammit Freud! He's trying to explain what was happening in the game in dumb terms so his dumb wannabe psychologist audience can understand.

I used to play hours of bullet (and also blitz).

My thought was that people who pause a few seconds in between every game are wimps  I would try to play nonstop.

So yeah, you forget about it almost instantly, although any intense feelings, like being upset over a ridiculous loss or happy with a pretty win might linger for a few games, but then even that goes away.

So finally a strong player have commented. So you don't analyze your bullet games.

Imagine that.

So you just made an account to troll the forums

For my next daredevil hypothesis, I am going to go out on a limb here and say when Carlsen plays weird openings like h3, he isn't trying to calculate anything. He is just looking for threats to defend against. Let's ask him.

Or it just means opening doesn't mean much at that level when he's tactically brilliant.

Bullet chess is more fun to play in my honest opinion, and it takes quite a bit of skill playing bullet once you break the 1500-1600 barrier of opponents. It's purely playing off of intuition, which is what makes it an interesting game.

Good point. I play around 1800-1900 bulelt game. maybe i should be thoughtful about every game. Time is wasted on thoughtless games.

Normally I wouldnt' care about bullet games or even blitz game, i never analyze them. But I'm only thinking about this now because i saw magnus do it.

You got a better bullet rating than me by more than 100 points so you can't be doing too bad haha. But for real, I find it fascinating how my mind just tells me what move to make in milliseconds and most of the time they're actually solid moves. There is some beauty to bullet chess, at least once you surpass the kids that spam queen moves to create worthless mate in 1 or 2 threats.

it's strange how anyone can develop strong intuitive sense of what to do in chess.

sometimes i feel that we're not too far off from the super Gm's

and i'm  a lot higher than 1600 lol. i just don't play on this site.

higher than1600 on that site doesn't mean your higher on this one. ratings are not the same on every site
