I am just here to have fun and play some chess.  After I am done a game, I just look for a new one.

But sometimes my opponents get angry because i did not play them again. i don't understand why because chess is just a game and we are supposed to have fun.  do you know why ?

Nobody deserves a rematch. Play again if you want or don’t if that’s what you want.

People get angry over the dumbest things, and online chess is absolutely no exception as we all know.

It's online, so it's easy to be a coward and not accept a rematch.

Sure I know why.

It's because they are morons.

imo you owe them nothing. But tbf, if it was a really close battle, or if they lost due to a small mistake and want a rematch, to decline would be a bit chicken. Your call either way imo.

its reasonable to sympathize and understand why some people feel sad and might want a rematch especially if it was a cheesy or undeserved win. other times even when crushed, people just wanna keep playing and want to beat you but yeah at the end of the day the decision of a rematch is essentially up to the winner and if they choose to keep going, well that's how it will be

Do people deserve a rematch?

Fortunately there is a clear rule about this. The answer is sometimes yes, often no, and generally whatever you feel like at the time. If you stick with this rule, you'll be fine.
