do puzzles make you a reckless player….?

I play puzzles all the time usually on time limits. I started chess late last year so haven’t been playing long. I sometimes wonder if Playing puzzles can effect your chess game in a negative way? I usually think I’ve got an advantage but a lot of the time I just end up down material by making stupid sacrifices! I know I’ve got a lot to learn. Just voicing my thoughts 🤘🏼
