Hey darlin', can I buy you a couple of drinks? I play the Najdorf, and I have a FIDE rating of 2150. Maybe later we could play some speed. If you fianchetto, I'll show you my poisoned pawn. Wait, come back! Where are you going? I also play Dungeons and Dragons. Call of Duty? Give me a chance!

lol. scotch might have been a better choice over Najdorf as it may arouse their curuosity and can be related to their (drinking - ) life. Wink

You should say you play a gambit- once you explain what that is they should be aroused by your daring.

Surely women realize that the Najdorf is played by the most talented and ambitious players. Don't they?

If I were a woman, the King's Indian player would be the one I give the phone number.

People in general are attracted to confidence...

Precisely why a self-centered jerk can have any woman he wants. They perceive it as self-confidence.

Of course, the odd thing is, if a man falls in love, chances are he'll think, "She's perfect. I hope she never changes." If a woman falls in love, she'll think, "He's perfect. I can change him!"
