I'd say chess is 75% tactics and 25% strategy.
40% just giving away pawns and pieces for free and 60% moving pieces forward in the middlegame just waiting to see what happens, then a random endgame you haven't studied played like speedy gonzales.

Engines destroy any human grandmaster with middle game tactics.

No, because strategy exists and is very prevalent in chess games as well.

Generally, you’d notice that it slowly seems to get harder and harder to play from the human side. That’s strategy at work…

I’ve known at least two people irl who have been closed for cheating. I think it’s just the frustration of not being able to increase your rating after you’ve been consistently growing. Good thing I stopped caring about online ratings.

Thats so cap its such a no skill game most people are overleveled
