I get angry when I am in a winning position and my connection goes off.

I get sometimes angry when i lose. But i get angry to myself cause i played so bad not to my opponent.

I will admit that I sometimes get angry if I make a stupid avoidable blunder and lose immediately. That's very frustrating.

But if I lose because I get outplayed, I see it as a valuable learning experience.

I can tell that by looking at your profile picture

Yes, I do get angry at chess sometimes, but don't we all? It's a tough game.

Yes, but only a little. It's a game, where you win and lose.

No one is perfect. Not even Magnus even though he is a grandmaster. He could still improve.

Getting angry never helps. Learning from mistakes helps.

when I lose horribly(by an elementary one-move tactical blunder, a serious positional blunder(since positional play is my strength), or from a winning position, I throw tantrums. How do I solve this negativity problem?

Even Kenny Solomon(rated in the lower 2400s) is a GM. He makes a lot of mistakes.

I wonder how many keyboards, mice and computer chairs Eric Hanson has had to replace. Their are compilations of him online with chairs getting tossed, lol.  I imagine that guy with the kingscrusher channel on youtube has a pretty serious rage once in a while too....  I can relate I get pretty furious too.  Being mad at yourself though is different than wasting 10 minutes of the clock so your opponent has to sit there one move from checkmating you until the time runs out- that is just pathetic.

Eric Hansen is a funny guy. I would consider him a true dark lord of the sith.

Actually, getting angry possibly motivates you to do better.  So maybe it does help.

You are beginning to understand the power of the dark side.
