No, it's boring and malfunctioning. At times it plays unthinkable moves, at times I can just move my pawn, take its pawn, move my pawn again, take a second pawn, etc. up until I get perhaps not the queen but at least a bishop, which is simply unbalanced. It does not play like a human and is therefore not too useful once you find the loopholes in it. This is for low levels, I don't know how it works for the higher ones, maybe it's better
Do you like play with computer?
I think there is a lot of value to it if approached correctly. First, if the computer is too easy and doing things you know are dumb, up the level. Second, play like a real game w/o takebacks, etc. Third, use the longer time control like 45/45. And actually use the time. If you keep upping the computers level, you WILL hit a level where it gives you a good, hard fought game.
The BIG advantage of computers is they are willing to play those long-play games.
