There is something seriously suspicious here. No one praises Hashish that much, unless you're smoking it. And they certainly don't praise that song that much, unless they've smoked too much of it. Hmmm....very suspicious....

I mainly save my comments about music for my own thread on that subject but I feel that I should add another post here. There are certain songs that move certain people. Of course it is often a different group of songs for each of us. A song that truly moves me each time that I hear it ( this goes back many years ) is " The City Of New Orleans " sung by Arlo Guthrie. Another is " Those Were The Days " by Mary Hopkins, & " The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down " by Joan Baez, & " Hey Jude " by the Beatles, etc etc. And yet other people may say these songs are garbage. In an earlier post someone said that such and such a song was not too good, well it is good for some and not good for others, such is life.

you're welcome. glad you enjoyed them. there's so many excellent guitarists in the world today and past, it's hard for me to pick an absolute favorite. I love instrumental rock, fusion, prog and so on. there's just so much good music out there and so many only have a select audience. back on topic, I can't say if I play any better or worse while listening to some tunes but I'm addicted to both so I'll take my chances and jam anyways :•)

Yes, truly a masterpiece. One of those where you still remember hearing it for the 1st time. I'm pretty sure I have every one of their cd's. Check them out Trysts. You won't be disappointed. "The Rolling People" is my favorite song by them, from "Urban Hymns"
