Do you think I'm able to get CM title? Experts + please help

But hey, it's a commendable goal. Have fun.

Maybe I have time to work out the tactics in slow OTB play and see through the shallow stuff. Maybe I suck at blitz. But it's hard to believe you're really 1523.
And I also don't see the point of mentioning that I've only been here 5 days because it only takes 5 minutes of looking at your idiotic topics to realize you're a joke.

There was one 1400 player I knew who could - a real SANDBAGGER.
@ urk, yeah there's Nm's on here that are rated 1900-2000 blitz but this clown claims to only be 1500.... Either he isn't 1500 otb or he cheats on here. I personally don't care which is the case. Either way, he's an idiot.

Pages 4 and 5 of myratingclowns blitz archive show him tanking his rating against the easy comp, he then goes on to win a ridiculous percentage of games to get back to 2000+ with ease..... How's that for proof d-bag?

Yes you play up from your otb rating when playing blitz. NM Smarterchess regularly does surveys of members to gather data in regards to otb ratings vs the various time control ratings on this site. The blitz ratings generally track at a similar level as the otb ratings. However I would assume other factors can come into play, for example when I play blitz I usually don't do anything other than try to checkmate and can go crazy without too many worries. If I played in such a way during longer games, and I have done that recently because of too much blitz, my rating plummets.

So if what Neil says is true then I suck at blitz. But I still don't believe 1523. Something is very fishy there.

The ratings obviously won't correlate in all instances, but he had people report different ratings for a couple of months and he was the only one I knew of who sincerely tried to pair the chess.com and otb ratings.
I am not a CM so I don't know how much my opinion is worth, but I just started getting into the low 1900s in blitz on my good days the past few weeks and I don't think I am anywhere near CM level. I don't have much opening theory, positional knowledge, or endgame knowledge. I would have to learn those first to play in a longer game. In my experience blitz games are more likely to have blunders of some sort and can just be decided by seeing tactics.

LOL your blitz rating is only 1900 and you're talking about getting a title?
Let me put this in perspective for you. My otb rating is only 1523 and in my last 20 live blitz games, i won 18 of them against 1900s, one of my losses was due to a mouse slip.
1900 live blitz players on here blunder pieces left and right, in a otb tournament you would get crushed against even a 1500 fide rated player.
Scientists say the universe is made up of neutrons, protons and electrons. They forgot to mention morons.

Back on topic, reaching even CM strength is not easy. The problem with being only modestly rated, but ambitious, is that of not having much of a clue about how much there is to learn and how much work you have to do on your temperament to be able to give of your best in competition.
It is a completely different world to playing Blitz and Bullet on-line.
kindaspongey's book suggestions are a great place to start, but lest they lead the OP to think the task is quite easy after all I'd recommend a look at Jonathan Speelman's best games collection to see just what really goes through a strong player's mind during play.
However, the first task is to love chess. i.e. not to play because you like winning at something, or because you can brag to non-chessplaying friends. I do not believe that competitive drive, ambition and willpower could sustain anyone long enough to reach master strength unless they are also fascinated by the game itself.

First of all I ask advice from experts and not just advice but to actually look in to my games , say last 10 games and actually analyze it and give son professional advice .

Please don't give advice if you never even reached 2200 rating or never had a title.
I need advice from masters .
If you are low rated player how can you even give advice , it's like teaching a chef how to cook , when you only familiar how to make an instant noodle or making a toast if you're a bit better come on...
Im talking about getting it OTB.
I've never played chess in a chess club or anywhere professionally, just here and then, few games with friends sometimes.
I've started playing chess 4 years ago , my rating then was something like 600-800 total beginner.
I know it's hard and nor very accurate, but still roughly by looking at my games , say my last 10 games do you think my strength is enough to pass for a CM title OTB or am I far far off?
