Isn't Jesus the one who claimed "Blessed are those who blunder and thirst for chess mastery, for they will be exploited"?

Funny!!!

I could definitely use a laugh this morning...

I purchased the Club Players Manifiesto and I was disappointed by the low quality of the material. As it seems to be the case with other DVDs by GM Damian Lemos; you notice that there was little or no preparation before siting in from of his PC to record the video.

I'm a big fan of his videos, personally, and I've gone as far as purchasing one of his iChess bundles. I'm no IM, but I like the way he explains things and feel its well suited to my skill level. I've watched many hours of his videos and have watched quite a few of them multiple times.

At the end of the day it's about personal preferences and what style works for you. With decently long sample videos and also free YouTube content you can get a good idea as to whether you will like it or not before committing any money. Given how many hours of study I'm getting out of it, I feel like the bundle I purchased was a pretty great bargain.

Before purchasing anything, you should decide what are you looking to improve. No matter you want to be "Carlsen" or "Tal", in my humble opinion you should pick the endings. Learn it and play it!
