Does anybody know this chess variant?

I was wondering if anybody knows the chess variant that uses the chess board and pieces and refers to all the pieces as different animals (I think the king is an elephant). The only thing I remember about the gameplay is that there was something to do with 'pulling' other pieces.

I think there was some type of Wikipedia article (or maybe just some wiki article) on it. I remember the article saying the game is more complex than chess so computer AIs have a harder time playing it. I've since looked through a bunch of articles on chess variants and have yet to find it.

I've been wanting to know what it's called for a while, so I figured this would be the best place to ask about it.

I think you mean Arimaa, the game that was designed after Kasparov played Deep Blue.
